Moel Famau, according to various sources, is pronounced 'moyl vamai' or 'moyl vama' or 'moyl vamau' ...).
The Moel Famau Country Park, has been classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty since 1985. It is the highest hill in the Clwydian Range at 1,821 ft (555 m).
The tower on the summit, which was built to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of George III in 1810, is a Grade II listed building. It was designed like an Egyptian obelisk with three tiers.
The route includes part of Offa's Dyke (yet to recce).
Loggerheads County Park is to the east. We won't visit it, but it's worth a look (cafe, gift shop, history, nice walks).
