We are the Eastwood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting at the visitor centre do the main Chatehault loop down to the green bridge for a short break then back over the Dukes bridge this is 5.5 miles that takes us back to the visitor centre the Avon Water loop which is 2 miles is optional which takes us to the Avon Bridge and back along the water to the visitor centre.
With or without doing both loops this walk is graded C+ as it is quite steep in parts there are decent paths throughout this walk but can be muddy in parts so gaiters and walking poles may be useful.
We are meeting at Clarkston 9am and leaving the carpark at 9.15am.
Please text the leader by 7pm on Friday 06th February if you plan to come on this walk and state if you are meeting at Clarkston or at the start point please.
