Overview

Along the river with lovely views, a fairly steep ascent to the Hunting Tower with sweeping views. Return along the top before descending on a track to Carlton Lees cp.  Possible tea-shop and garden centre visit afterwards.  Possible walk extension to Beeley for those wanting a slightly longer walk.

You should bring enough food and drinks with you to last the whole walk. We usually stop for a coffee break an hour or so into the walk, and stop for packed lunch around 1230-1300 although weather and a suitable location can affect timings.
