Overview

This walk is part of the Gloucestershire Area Walking Together 2026 event from Chedworth Village Hall and starts at 11.00. Please arrive at the hall to register by 10.50 am.

The walk goes through part of Chedworth village, across the disused railway, through Chedworth woods to the Roman Villa. The route is undulating and has some paths that are rough underfoot. There will be about an hour and a half at the villa for lunch and to look around. Please bring a National Trust card or £15 entry fee for access to the villa. The café can be used without the entry fee.

The return is along the Macmillan Way via Chedworth church to the village hall. The walk will return in time for a local talk.

Bring drinks and snacks for a picnic lunch. Alternatively, refreshments are available at the villa's café.

Tea and cake available at the hall after the walk.
