We are the Bromley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We start with some great views over the City (weather permitting), see a Battle of Britain memorial and then stop for a break at the quaint Well Hill Memorial Church. After a stretch which is spoilt only by M25 traffic noise, we enter Lullingstone Country Park where we have lunch at the Visitors Centre (light refreshments available, but maybe bring your own). The afternoon starts with a climb before going to Chelsfield village and back to the start. Some lane walking in both the morning and afternoon.
Car Park just to the north of the station off The Highway opposite Stirling Rd, which is free at weekends (Note, this is not the station car park which is payable by app). By train, there is a 9.35 from Bromley, change at Orpington for departure at 9.56 and arrival at 9.59 (leader will meet you there). Bus R1 from Orpington also stops at the car park.
