Overview

We leave Chepstow and cross over the River Wye and follow the Gloucestershire Way to Netherhope where we pick up the track of a dismantled railway first going through a tunnel about 1/2 a mile long then a cinder path and finally cross over the Old Wireworks Bridge to Tintern and a late coffee stop. We recross the  Bridge and pick up the Offa's Dyke Path which we follow firstly to Devil's Pulpit where there are wonderful views over Tintern, then on to Chepstow and the castle. 5 stiles.
