Overview

Starting from Cheriton Recreation Ground, we'll walk along the Itchen River bank and gradually climb the hill with some good views.  The route continues skirting Hinton Ampner and across the fields on the Wayfarers Walk past Kilmeston until we take the South Downs Way until we head back to Cheriton along Honey Lane.

Cheriton Recreation Ground car park, Westfield Road, Cheriton. From the village green take Westfield Road and pass The Flowerpots Pub on your left, the recreation ground car park is shortly after on the right. Leader will be at start point.
