The walk begins on the Oxfordshire Way, then we will will continue to the Oxford Canal via Bletchingdon and Hampton Gay. Much of the walk will along the canal in the shade. We follow the canal to Pigeon’s Lock and from there we leave the canal and walk to Tackley.
The walk is fairly flat and much of it is in the shade. It could be muddy if it has rained so appropriate footwear is advisable. Limited parking is available at Kirtlington Village Hall so car share if possible.
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.
Well behaved dogs on a short lead welcome. Please be aware that not all stiles are dog friendly.
