Overview

This is an undulating walk through several areas of woodland.

We head out from Goring along the Chiltern Way, into Great Chalk Wood over to Blackbirds Bottom and into Little Oaken Wood. After wandering through the woods, we continue to Straw Hill via The Almshouses at Goring Heath. We should have great views on top of Straw Hill along the River Thames and Mapledurham. After a short walk to Hardwick house, we go up to Path Hill to rejoin The Chiltern Way to Hartslock, where we join the Thames Path and walk to Gate Hampton Manor and back into Goring.
