We join the Lambourn Valley Way heading westwards before descending Easton Hill to cross the river and pass by Easton Farm and Westbrook Farm to reach and turn right at the road, which essentially runs parallel to the Lambourn and leads to Boxford Church. Here we will take our mid-walk break.

Near the bridge at Boxford we rejoin the Lambourn Valley Way to pass the Linden Estate vineyard before taking the footbath leading to Bagnor Wood and then turning northwards to reach the Winterbourne Road near Boxford Farm. Re-crossing the river we again join the LVW to return to our starting point.
