Overview

 A lovely walk over Chobham Common (one of the finest examples of lowland heath in the world), passing the Memorial Cross where Queen Victoria reviewed the troops before they left for the Crimean war.  Mainly firm sandy/gravelly tracks. No stiles. Some mud as expected but manageable with boots.
