We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet the leader at 10am at Staple Hill Car Park, Chobham. Nearest Postcode GU24 8TP (free parking). There are two other car parks along that road. The Staple Hill Car Park is the middle one on the west side of the road. The other two are on the east.
This is a stunning walk over the high pine-topped heath of Chobham Common. It is a flat walk with some stiles.... could be muddy. We will have a 20 minute snack break at Fishpool halfway through the walk. There is no lunch pub stop as a short walk but there are 2 pubs close to the end of the walk if people wish to make their own arrangements after collecting their cars.
