A walk down into the Chess Valley, up the other side to Sarratt Church, then across the valley to Chenies before returning the other side of the valley to our start point. There is a café on the Common side of the road for those that wish to visit after the walk. Please bring along a drink and snack if you wish for our mid-morning break.
Meet at the Chorleywood Estate car park (free) near the cemetery and tennis courts, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth WD3 5FL.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 20 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
