We are the Deeside Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is an easy, 4.5 mile walk starting from the car park at The Cheshire Cat, Christleton (please park at the end of the car park furthest from the hotel).
The optional pub lunch will be not be at the Cheshire Cat but at the "Twirl of Hay" a Brewers Fayre restaurant a mile away at Caldy Valley Road, Great Boughton CH3 5PR.
If you plan to join the leaders for lunch, please select what you'd like to eat from the restaurant menu (see link below) then make a booking by sending a SMS with your choice of meal(s) to the leader Rhonwen by Monday 13th May.
The walk includes a canal footpath, fields and a short stop at Christleton Mere, before returning to the Cheshire Cat car park.
Dogs
Deeside Group has a policy of not allowing dogs on its walks.
Registered assistance dogs may be permitted, but only by prior arrangement with the walk leader.
