Overview

A walk in the Conwy Valley led by our guest leader, John Kummer.
The walk is rated as Moderate (Grade C+) 9 miles with approximately 1700ft of ascent and some steep climbs.
From Trefriw, we follow an uphill forest track to join Crafnant Road, following the Afon Crafnant to the head of Llyn Crafnant reservoir. From there we cross via a disused quarry to the Taliesin monument at the head of a second lake Llyn Geirionnydd before making our way via the tiny Llanrhychwyn Church to the River Conwy. We follow the river back to Trefriw.
