Starting from Cwmdu in the eastern Black Mountains we ascend to Cefn Moel and Mynydd Llangorse with views of Llangorse lake before descending to Cwm Sorgwm pass.  We then ascend steeply to Mynydd Troed and traverse the summit ridge before descending steeply again to Cwm Sorgwm.  We cross the narrow valley and ascend the steep opposite flank to Pen Tir, traversing this ridge before our final descent to Cwmdu. 

Likely return to cars 4.30pm. Bring packed lunch and plenty of hydration. Toilet facilities in Crickhowell.
