If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
The walk leader will meet you at the start point and can pick people up in Calne. Please text to arrange and book a car share if needed.
Starting from the main car park we will head along the White Horse Way to a long barrow before walking through the middle of the woods to come out into the open. A short stretch of road walking then gets us into the Sarson Stone fields at Lockeridge.
The walk will be uneven underfoot in places.
The walk starts from the West Woods car park. O/S Explorer 157.
