Overview

A circular walk from Letty Green: it starts from the car park on the Cole Green Way, by the former railway station and behind the Cowper Arms pub. It skirts Welwyn Garden City, parallels the Mimram river for a while then returns through Panshanger Park. There are no stiles, two fairly steep hills (one down, one up) and the terrain is a mixture of old railway alignments, suburban paths and open country. On the recce there was some mud but not a lot, and a very small amount of roadside walking.

The walk leader is Peter M.
