Come and enjoy this iconic walk from Holyhead marina, past North Stack, to the top of Holyhead Mountain and calling at South Stack before returning around the mountain.
See the historic breakwater protecting Holyhead harbour, take in stunning coastal scenery and walk through this magnificent landscape. Enjoy this opportunity to meet interesting people, renew acquaintances and make new friends.
This 8 mile walk is on generally good paths but it includes sections on narrow paths above steep drop offs to the sea. Stout footwear and walking poles are recommended. Wear waterproof clothing suitable for a cold, possibly windy, February day.
There are toilets at the start point which are likely to be open. There are also toilets and cafe at the RSPB visitor centre at South Stack.

The walk is suitable for well behaved dogs on short leads.
Due to the exposed route of this walk it will be cancelled or postponed in the event of a severe weather warning being issued by the Met Office and the leader will not attend the start point. Notice of cancellation will be given on this website and on Facebook at Ynys Môn Ramblers Group.
