This circular walk takes us to Ashley Green and then returns to the station. Our walk will pass through and Iron Age fort, farmland and buildings that have been there since medieval times and a World War Two airfield...so lots to see! There will be a pub stop for drinks part way through the walk. You will need to bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day too. It may be muddy underfoot so be prepared.
Meet at 10.00 outside the Chesham Station, HP5 1DH. There is some parking in surrounding residential streets or car parks in the town.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 21 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
