We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We start going along the Ebury Way toward Rickmansworth then onto Whippendell Woods via the Grand Union canal and Long Valley Wood. From there we go through Cassiobury Park and Watford High Street and back to the out starting point. The mixed terrain could be muddy in places, there are no styles but two hills. Please bring along a packed lunch and drinks for the day but there is the opportunity to visit a cafe during the lunch break.
Please meet at the free car park at the King George V Playing Fields, Tolpits Lane Watford, WD18 9QD. Refreshments and toilets are available at the Watford Cycle Hub (in Chaffinch Lane) at the start and end. Various toilets available en route.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.
The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book.
If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
