Nancy Teuch path into Gore Glen, through Gore Glen, a short section of road onto a track towards Newtongrange- good countryside views. Through Cockpen Industrial Estate, Newtongrange Station, path to the Scottish Mining Museum-interesting information boards about local history.
Stopping at Scottish Mining Museum for a break-toilets available. Returning to Gorebridge-short section of road walking.
Meet at MIBC at 10:00am to car share or at Anniston Rangers/ Scout Hall Car Park, Gorebridge EH23 4XT (opposite the Coronation Inn) at 10:20am
Could be muddy in places / steps down into Gore Glen / one slight inclines- otherwise a flat walk.
Option to go for coffee at the Scottish Mining Museum at the end of the walk.
