We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Our route starts off heading towards Cobblers Hill along the South Bucks Way, before continuing to Little and then Great Hampden along the Chiltern Way, before joining the Chiltern Heritage Trail to return via Nanfan Wood and Prestwood back to Great Missenden. The terrain is mainly paths across fields and through woodland and there are several ascents and descents up and down the Chiltern bottoms which could be muddy and slippery, so be prepared!. Please bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day but there is the possibility of a drink at the Hampden Arms at lunchtime.
Meet at the entrance to Links Road car park (£3.80, toilets) on the right hand side of Links Road as you approach the town centre. There is another car park on the left hand side of the road, or you may be lucky and find free parking along the road.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 20 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
