Lambourne Church dates from the 11th Century and is well worth a look inside after the walk. It is usually open and contains wall paintings and a monument to a cavalry officer killed in the Charge of the Light Brigade

Church Lane is a dead end but a very long one. Just keep going until you reach the Church. Park in the Church Car Park (entrance immediately before the church) NB although within the M25 this is NOT in the ULEZ zone as it is in Essex not Greater London
