Starting from the new Upton Country House Welcome Centre, this circular walk takes us up on to Upton Heath via the Roman road and back down via the old railway line. The last part of the walk goes through the country park itself. The walk is undulating, mostly on good tracks, but there are some narrow heathland paths to negotiate.

The Welcome Centre is accessible by bus, number 9 Poole circular via Upton and Turlin Moor or 40 Poole/Swanage alight Upton Country Park Entrance and walk 5 minutes..
This walk is a Poole Harbour Trails circular walk. There are toilets at the start and end of the walk. There will be one short break about half way for your own refreshments.
