Walk Cambridge is an active walking club and social group, aimed at working age people living in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

Walking below the castle mound, we follow the footpath out of the park and make our way out of the village via the Stour Valley Path. We follow the Stour Valley footpath to Cavendish where we can sit on benches under the trees of the village green for lunch.
We then make our way back to Clare Country Park via footpaths which eventually meet up at the River Stour back to the Country Park. At end of walk there is the option for coffee and cake to eat at Platform One Café within the grounds of the Country Park.
We aim to meet at 11.00am at the Pay and Display Car Park to Clare Castle Country Park,
Malting Lane, Clare, Sudbury, Suffolk: CO10 8NW
Advisable to wear hiking trousers as some footpaths have nettles.
Also, please bring pack lunch and suitable clothing if it rains.
Please note that the pay and display car park will only accept cards and Ringo App payments.
There is no obvious public transport, so if anyone would like a lift, please indicate in the meetup chat.
