A moderately paced winter walk, with little mud expected, from North Enfield towards Goffs Oak, then east to the New River.  Return via the New River Path, the London Loop and Forty Hall.

Enfield. Drive into Strayfield Road, at the top of Clay Hill by St. John the Baptist Church, and park about 200 yards along on the left hand side by the cricket ground. Or take Bus 456 towards Crews Hill, stop N (Flash Lane) at the top of Clay Hill.
