Walk includes Birmingham University Museums and sculptures trail plus a canal walk via an aqueduct and a visit to Bournville Village - passing slowly by Cadbury’s Factory shop (open to the public) and cafe en-route. It is planned to have approx one hour stop at Bournville Village Green to enable members to look around (please bring a packed lunch or plan to buy from the Village shops). As we exit the Village you will have an opportunity to view the Arts and Crafts architectural styles.

Start: Walk starts at 11.00 a.m. from the Birmingham University Station, Birmingham: University Road West, Edgbaston. B15 2FB. This is a train stop on the Cross City Railway line from Redditch to Lichfield. It is intended to use public transport * see below - address provided for reference only - not parking.
Meeting point - as you exit the train station you are within the grounds of Birmingham Queen Elizabeth hospital. Turn right and within yards on the right you will see a cycle stand, a red phone box and a post box, meet here.

Stand 1: Bus number 20, departs at 9.40 - senior bus pass compliant and allows time for toilet stop before walk commences. There are free parking options nearby the bus station - please check with walk leaders if you are unsure of the area.
