Overview

This ‘Day Out’ combines a walk and visit to Birmingham Botanical gardens via train. This approximately 5 or 6 mile walk includes your walk around the Botanical Gardens via the interesting Birmingham University campus Sculpture Trail and beautiful Vale Village Lake. Walk Leaders will be visiting the gardens along with the group. There is an entry charge for the Botanical Gardens; see below for more details. However, Ramblers who are only interested in the walk could leave the group at this point and make their own way back to the Train Station - an approximately 40 minutes walking route.

After enjoying the gardens and lunch (estimate 2-3 hours) the group will continue the circular walk back to the University Train Station.
