From the Coed Llangwyfan car park, route around Moel Arthur and steady ascent near Moel Plas-yw to coffee stop at a ruin known as The Three Bears cottage. Good views of the coast and beyond.  Passing Pen-y-Bryn farm the route gently climbs to our lunch stop, another ruin cottage.  Suitably refreshed a short section to the start of the Offa's Dyke path over Penycloddiau with it's hill fort and excellent views, back to Coed Llangwyfan car park.
