Overview

This walk takes in Clydach Ironworks Ruins, Old Quarry Viewpoint, Gilwern Viaduct, Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and Lonely Shepherd Standing Stones.

The walk is navigated generally via very well established paths and steps.  Because this circular walk traverses this deep gorge expect some steep and strenuous ascents and descents. Dogs are welcome however need to kept on a lead when anywhere near livestock. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and protective clothing according to the weather forecast.
