Broadbottom is a small village located in the Tame Valley, in the borough of Tameside, Greater Manchester. The village is situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park, making it an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. The village has a population of around 1,500 people and is known for its picturesque surroundings and friendly community.

One of the main attractions in Broadbottom is the Tame Valley Way, a 20-mile walking trail that runs from the Peak District to Manchester. The trail passes through the village and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The village also has a number of local pubs and restaurants, including the Harewood Arms, which is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.

Broadbottom is also home to a number of community events throughout the year, including the Broadbottom Carnival, which takes place in July. The carnival features a parade, live music, and a variety of stalls and activities for all ages. The village also has a community centre, which hosts a range of events and activities, including fitness classes, art workshops, and social events. Overall, Broadbottom is a charming village with a strong sense of community and plenty to offer visitors.

Hopefully after the walks are completed there should be enough time for a cafe/pub visit !
