We are the Wigan and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
There will be two walks on this visit to Silverdale !
Walk one will be led by David & will take in the woods, & coastal paths of the beautiful surrounding area & it will be a eight mile circular walk !
Walk two will be led by Pat & Phil it will also take in an area similar to the eight mile walk but will be shorter by three miles coming in at a five mile circular walk !
Both these walks on a clear day should give us spectacular views of the surrounding area !
Silverdale is a small but thriving village in Lancashire situated on the border with Cumbria and facing westwards into Morecambe Bay. It is located within one of Britain's smallest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty AONB !

9-15 Standish ( top of school lane )
Once the walks are completed there should be enough time for a cafe/pub visit.
The return coach home will leave silverdale at 4-00
