We are the Windsor & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a Coach trip to Chartwell NT house, Westerham, Kent. The trip includes a self-guided tour of the house, studio, gardens and estate. There is an optional one hour walk around the estate which is mainly woodland and does involve some inclines and declines. There is a cafe serving hot and cold food or plenty of seats for a picnic lunch.
NT members are free to enter, and non-NT members are £18. We have a timed entry slot into the house, the family home of Winston Churchill. Coach fare is £20

This is a joint trip with Slough U3A
Meet in Upton Court car park at 08:45 to board the coach which will depart at 9am. There is plenty of free parking in Upton Court car park. The coach will leave Chartwell at 4pm for the return journey. The journey time is one hour 15 minutes and there are toilets across the road from the coach park at Chartwell.
