This is a coach walk.
The coach starts from Nottinghamshire County Hall, Loughborough Road, Nottingham NG2 7QP at 9.15am and Maid Marian Way (outside Tesco) at 9.30am

There will be a choice of four walks of varying distance to suit most abilities
A WALK - Leader: Linda Hewing - 11 miles
Route: Wolseley, Long Covert, Wolseley Park House, Sherbrook Valley, Two Saints Way, Mere Pits, Staffs Way, Shugborough Hall, Canal to Wolseley (garden centre)
Conditions: Forest paths, some mud, undulating.
B WALK - Leader: Dave Johnson - 9 miles
Route: Bishton, Round Hill, Wolseley Park, Cannock Chase, Spring Hill, Shugborough Park, Trent & Mersey Canal, Bishton
Terrain: Undulating, some mud along the towpath but the paths in the Chase itself were quite acceptable. Possible pub/cafe stop if time permits
C WALK - Leader: Paul Wagstaff - 7.25 miles
Route: The Wolseley Garden Centre, the Trent and Mersey Canal, enter the chase at Beggar’s Hill, a Ford Sherbrook Valley, turning eastward past a sand quarry, Wolseley Park House, Garden Centre. Terrain moderate, not much mud as it is mostly hard surfaced tracks

Please sign up at least three days prior to the date of walk. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up for a walk without booking, as we will have to turn you away.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations received BEFORE 8pm the Thursday preceding the Sunday Coach - NO CHARGE.
Cancellations received after 8pm on the Thursday preceding the Sunday coach will INCUR A £5 CHARGE.
