We leave the car park and enjoy a flat stroll to St.Johns. Here we begin a steady ascent (144m) to the peak of Redhill common, and marvel at the magnificent view across to the South Downs. We descend through the woods down to St.Johns Church. The rest of the walk is flat, back across Earlswood and into Felland Copse. Given the right time of year, we will enjoy a carpet of bluebells. We emerge from Felland into 'Coffin Woods', then follow various footpaths across Lonesome Lane and back to the car park. We will pass through a field of horses, so assistance dogs only please. Some of the paths have only been used by roaming water buffalo for the past few months, so please be prepared for mud!
