From Highbury the walk goes south crossing Kilmersdon Common and on alongside the remains of the branch of the Somerset Coal Canal. It passes through Coleford and the canal aquaduct and on through woodland to Upper Vobster. It then heads north passing Vobster Quay diving centre and returns to Highbury via Babington House and Kilmersdon.
There are good views, woodland paths and open fields to enjoy on this walk. Some paths are uneven and you may find walking poles helpful.
Coleford British Legion, Please park at the rear of the car park .. Please note that it will be Remembrance Sunday , so it the car park is full, park on nearby roads.
