We are the Alton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from Colemore Church we will walk out towards Manor Farm, and walk along the lanes and tracks to Five Ash Farm. Here we will take the route to bring us to the bottom of The Warren, part of Ashford Hangers Nature Reserve, and take the path to join Warren Lane. At Warren Corner we walk along the footpaths along the ridge with, weather permitting, some lovely views. We pass the No Name pub and make our way back to the start passing Field Farm. There is a steady climb up along The Warren.
Bring a drink and snack as required.
The ground is uneven in many place with stones and roots, some areas may be muddy and there are a number of stiles. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring poles if you use them.
Alton Sports Centre Lower Car Park by Alton Skate Park, Jubilee Playing Field, Chawton Park Road, Alton or in the upper overflow car park. Leader will be at meet point.
Colemore, Church of St Peter ad Vincula, GU34 3RX. Park on the grass in front of the church, at right angles to the road.
