We start at Selborne Recreation Ground and take a route past Sotherington Farm and on to Rhode Farm. We then take the Writers' Way back towards Selborne Church and head out to climb Selborne Hanger. At the top of the zig-zag path we can take in the views before descending using the zig-zag path and return to the car park.
Bring a drink and snack as required.
There are some slopes and some areas may be muddy. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring poles if you use them.
Alton Sports Centre Lower Car Park by Alton Skate Park, Jubilee Playing Field, Chawton Park Road, Alton or in the upper overflow car park. Leader will be at meet point. Some Saturday's can be busy due to football matches so leave enough time to park.
Selborne Recreation Ground From Alton, drive along the B3006 into Selborne and past the Shops and Pub. Turn left at the "Ketchers Cottages" sign, up a small driveway and bear left into the recreation ground. The sign is diagonally opposite the Selborne Well Head.
