We are the North Cotswold Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A rare chance to visit the private estate at Colesbourne to see their spectacular displays of snowdrops, preceded by a circular walk of six miles through Upper Coberley, Lower Cockleford and Colesbourne. One mid-morning refreshment stop. Optional picnic lunch at the end of the walk for those visiting the snowdrops. The estate opens at 1pm and the entry fee is £10. Tearoom and toilets available at the estate.
Park on the Hilcot Road, a turning off the A435 just before the western entry to the village of Colesbourne. Continue up the road past some houses to a long lay-by on the left in the woods just after a public bridleway. Please note that this is a forest lay-by with a firm base but muddy surface - please bring suitable footwear for getting out of your car. After the walk it is a half mile drive to the Colesbourne Estate parking.
