Collingham to South Scarle and return, outward route following Roman Road to the South of the village.
The route is mainly flat, along paths, tracks, and minor roads, through fields, small wooded areas and villages. There are two short stretches of narrow road where traffic drives fast - walkers will need to walk single file and on the verge on these stretches. The route contains stiles and railway crossings.
Part of the route becomes difficult to negotiate after prolonged rain, so the route might be changed if conditions dictate.
Usual lunch and coffee stops.
Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
