We are the Collingham Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk is South to North up the newly designated Trent Vale Trail which links the Trentside Villages.
This stretch takes in some of Besthorpe Nature Reserve, views across the Trent Valley and passes through the villages of Besthorpe, Girton and South Clifton.
There will be the usual coffee and lunch stops so please bring your refreshments and something to sit on.
The terrain is mixed paths and country lanes which can be muddy in parts so boots are recommended.
No stiles or obstacles.
Dog friendly.
As this is a linear walk there will need to cars at both ends of the walk and the logistics will be finalised on the day.
Start; Collingham AllSaints Church junction of Church Lane and Low Lane. Finish: Top of Coal Yard Lane where it joins Vicarage Road in South Clifton.
