Overview

A fairly level walk through the Colne Valley Regional Park and surrounding countryside.   We walk along the Grand Union canal with it's colourful canal boats and locks, follow the Hillingdon Trail across fields and through woods around Harefield and then around Stockers Lake which is a summer breeding ground for a myriad of birdlife.   One gentle hill and no stiles, a little bit of lane walking.  Could be muddy in places if wet.
