Overview

We will head out from the Dumyat Centre up the zig zag path and over Myreton Hill and then up a forest track onto the path that goes up the west side of Colsnaur Hill. From Colsnaur, the route follows hill paths round to Big Hunt Hill before rejoining forest tracks that take us down through the Jerah Woodland, to the Jerah Farm ruins in Menstrie Glen. We return via the glen to Menstrie. There are great all round views from Colsnaur when visibility is good. Kestrels, buzzards, red kites and short eared owls have been seen hunting at Jerah.
