Join us for a walk exploring the hidden history of Oakbank, once a bustling industrial area with its own village, both of which have since disappeared & the area reclaimed by nature. Stroll through a beautifully landscaped environment where wild lupins will be in full bloom, adding a vibrant splash of colour to the former Oakbank Bing.
Starting from Livingston South Railway Station car park, we'll follow the Linhouse Circuit path to Oakbank, taking in stunning views across the county before returning alongside Murieston Water back to the start. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy a wildflower show and uncover the fascinating past of this unique area!
We will be walking on a mixture of surfaced & unsurfaced paths & will be ascending one short steep flight of steps. It is advisable to wear either strong walking trainers or walking boots & you may prefer to bring a walking pole for extra support.
Spaces are limited to 20 people so please book early to avoid disappointment.
