We explore the second half of Herefordshire’s brand new route, The Bromyard Ring, a 16 mile orbital route around Bromyard. This is a linear walk. We will meet at the finish at Brockhampton school and then drive to the start at Stoke Lacy village hall. We walk a quiet lane towards Bredenbury and visit the lovely Kingfisher Trout Lake. We walk through Wilton farm, pass Rowden Mil station to the Tack Farm which used to be home to lions and tigers! Then to Edwin Ralph with a superb finish across Bromyard Downs. We can celebrate at the Royal Oak afterwards. The going should be mainly good with two sections of lane walking.
