Overview

A moderate walk on a mixture of paths and tracks, open moorland and quiet roads. We start in Calver and gently ascend Coombs Dale along the valley floor. We then ascend further up to Longstone Moor and admire the beautiful views from the top. We then walk along Longstone Moor before dropping down Longstone edge towards the river Derwent for a short stretch of the Derwent Valley Heritage trail back to Calver. No pub stop.
