Overview

The walk is a pleasant, undulating countryside walk, through woods and fields, going towards and around Cocking Tor. We continue through similar terrain towards Tansley Knoll and Tansley. From here we head to Riber Castle for lunch. Then onward to Old Matlock and Matlock Green, before returning via Lumsdale to the start.
