North Sands, South Sands, Combe. Leisurely pace
Having recced the walk for this Sunday 15 February it is now roughly 4.4 miles avoiding mud. It will be done at a leisurely place. However as with my previous short walks there is flexibility when we return to North Sands (from Coombe) we can choose to quickly finish back via Hangar Mill or continue to Salcombe and call into the Victoria Inn for rousing Sunday refreshments. After which a tipsy stroll via Batson Creek and a short stiff elevation to wake us up - an extra 1.4 miles overall. Please note for those new members unfamiliar with the start point, ignore satnav. it is at the top north end of Beadon Road in the residential area just below Beadon Cross - not the bottom of Beadon Road at North Sands end.
