Overview

We will walk up hills opposite Pen y Fan. The track up is not too steep as it goes along the hillside, but will take over an hour to reach the trig on Fan Frynych. 360 Views on top are stunning.

From here we will stay on top of the hill and make our way to Storey Arms. We will cross the road and make our way along the Taf Trail till we veer off along a stream reaching the Youth Hostel and back to the car.

There are 3 styles, no doggy holes unfortunately. The ground maybe muddy on top if it has been raining. We will have to cross the main road by Storey Arms. Use poles.
